Outdoor Murals Dodge City

Dodge City, KS | Ford County

On the 1930s First National Bank building (near 2nd and Spruce), Stan Herd has painted a five-story mural replicating Frederic Remington's "The Old Stage-Coach of the Plains." Stan also has created a pictorial chronology of local history on the National Beef Packing plant exterior (2000 E. Trail).

Additional murals in Eisenhower Park at 511 1st Avenue honor the 1942 Dodge City Army Airfield; the Mexican Village; the cast of the movie, Dodge City; and Betty Muncy and Jess Denious.
