Matfield Station & PrairyArt Path

Matfield Green, KS | Chase County

Bill McBride creates thought-provoking and imaginative sculptures using sticks, stones, bones, wire, and other bits of flotsam found on his 40 acres of Flint Hills prairie. How he combines natural and gathered items is creative genius! To the south of Bill's studio (Matfield Station) find PrairyArt Path with 4 miles of stunning views of the Flint Hills, remnants of historic cattle pens and outdoor sculptures. Call ahead for tour.
