City of Governors

Olathe, KS | Johnson County

A plaque on the outside of city hall recognizes Olathe as the City of Governors, three men from Olathe have held Kansas' highest office (John P. St. John, George Hodges, and John Anderson) and two became governors of other states. In the city hall courtyard a vertical Phil Epp and Terry Corbett tile sculpture brings gorgeous blue skies to Olathe every day. Arlie Regier and Dave Regier stainless steel sculptures also add to the landscape.
