Johnson County Square

Olathe, KS | Johnson County

A community green, curved walkway, tree grove and seating, multipurpose platform, history plaza and an art garden play area are all part of the new Johnson County square in the area where the old 1952 courthouse stood.

The two gallery photos show a 1907 Santa Fe Trail plaque and a Kwan Wu sculpture of children playing with their dog. The sculpture is in memory of every child lost along the Santa Fe Trail. These photos were taken when they stood on the old courthouse grounds but they are now in the new Johnson County Square's history plaza.
