The family of Walter Chrysler, founder of the Chrysler automobile, moved to Ellis from Wamego in 1878 when Walter was only 3 years old. A short video tells about his life, and the museum is filled with Chrysler's personal and automobile memorabilia, including one of his 1924 cars. Admission charge. (NRHP) (8 Wonders of Kansas People)
