At home in this two-story, red-brick former city hall, the museum displays artifacts and early photos of Ellis' railroad heritage. You'll see switchman lanterns, a telegraph room, and an elaborate model railroad layout. Outside, a 2.5-mile mini-train ride takes you past the historic Penokee depot and a Union Pacific caboose.
Train rides run at 10 am and 2 pm, weather permitting.
