Veterans are respectfully honored with many memorials throughout Emporia. Civil War Veterans Monument (4th and Union, Fremont Park); Spanish-American War Memorial (S. Neosho and Kansas); Hispanic American World War II Veterans Memorial (205 S. Lawrence, St. Catherine's Church); Veterans Hall of Honor (1200 Commercial, Emporia State University, Memorial Student Union).
