VETERANS MEMORIAL

All Veterans Memorial

In 1991 Emporia dedicated the first memorial in the nation to honor all veterans from the Civil War through the Gulf War. A Vietnam War-era Huey helicopter and a WWII Sherman army tank accompany the memorial, as does the Purple Heart Memorial. A first-rate and moving online tour is at allveteransday.org.
