The 51-mile Prairie Spirit Trail connects in Riverside Park to the shorter Southwind Rail Trail, which goes south to Humboldt. The highlight of the latter route is the restored railroad trestle over Elm Creek, less than a mile from Riverside Park. Tree-lined much of the way, the trail also offers views of prime cropland.
