Stuttgart

The town was established in 1888 by German immigrants, many originally from Stuttgart, Germany. At Main and Kansas, the large hand-painted yellow lettering on the faded red 1880s shop is a reminder that G.E. 'Ed' Woodard was once the blacksmith here. The building was moved to this site from elsewhere in the county in the early 1900s. This icon of Stuttgart provides a great photo opportunity.
