The 1888 Sedgwick County courthouse (NRHP) is a stunning limestone Romanesque Revival building. On the south grounds the magnificent Soldiers and Sailors Civil War monument (NRHP) recognizes each of the four branches of the Union military (artillery, cavalry, infantry, and navy) with full-sized bronze statues.
