From 5th, 13 miles east on Main (becomes River Road). Paralleling the South Fork of the Solomon River, this route follows the cusp of the Smoky Hills and High Plains physiographic regions. Contrasting landscapes are obvious to the discerning explorer's eye. Follow this mostly sand road until you come to just south of Hill City.
