HISTORIC BRIDGE

Otter Creek Bridge

Cedar Vale, KS | Chautauqua County

It's a pretty little bridge situated around a slight bend in the road. 1 of 4 camelback truss bridges remaining in Kansas, this bridge with a wooden-deck and 122-foot single span was built in 1936 by the WPA. Can you see the 5 angles on the truss that make it a camelback? (NRHP)
