HISTORIC CHURCH

Old Stone Church

Osawatomie, KS | Miami County

This landmark church was built in 1861 by the Reverend Samuel Adair, who, with the help of his sons, hauled in the native stone from the surrounding hills. It stands today, complete with original pews and altar, as the third oldest Congregational church in Kansas. The building is now used for special meetings and weddings. (NRHP)
