Marion Reservoir

Constructed by the federal government, the reservoir lies between the towns of Marion and Hillsboro off U.S. 56. Many recreational opportunities are available, from fishing and skiing to bird watching, hiking, and camping. Completed in 1968, the lake was built for flood control and as a water supply.
