The centerpiece of this charming and historic park is the 1884 fountain and a wooded walking path along Luta Creek that offers a nice respite. In the park's southeast corner you'll find an 1860 historic spring, still running. Though it's hard to read the signage by now, it's landscaped with large stones which create a restful stop. The spring once was a watering site for passing pioneers. Today the park's old-fashioned playground equipment provides good fun for children.
