The Lewis and Clark Expedition arrived at Kaw Point, the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, on June 26, 1804. Interpretive signage at the pavilion provides background about this historic expedition. A boardwalk along the river and a trail through the woods enhance the experience.
