The first thing you need to know about Leavenworth, besides its wonderful history, is that it has a tricky street numbering system. The numbered avenues become numbered streets as they proceed west across Spruce. For instance, 5th Avenue becomes 7th Street north of Spruce. Keep this in mind as you explore!
