AFRICAN AMERICAN

Kansas African American Museum

Wichita, KS | Sedgwick County

The Calvary Baptist Church (NRHP) is a fitting venue to better understand the 20th-century black experience in Wichita. The museum also showcases the significance blacks have had in Wichita culture, historically to the present. Documents, photos, and artifacts combine to create compelling exhibits.
