When completed in 1904, the church was deemed the "handsomest in Highland." The architecture is significant because the Shingle style exterior is rare on a church building. Ely Saunders, designer of the Wynkoop home, oversaw the construction. The building's red-brick veneer accented by the buff-brick quoins make this church quite a beauty! (NRHP)
