Highland Presbyterian Church

This church has the earliest formed Presbyterian congregation in the state, dating to 1843. After the 1888 church burned down, the new church, constructed around 1914, was designed with a flat roof and without a steeple, which was highly unusual for that time period and location in a rural community.
