In 1912 local carpenter and contractor Ely Saunders interpreted the popular Prairie School and Craftsman architectural styles to design a distinctive home for wealthy merchant A.L. Wynkoop. The Shingle style exterior is an unusual feature of this two-story house with third-story dormers. (NRHP)
