If you stand at Main and Lincoln, you'll see a large Google logo in the middle of the intersection. It is the same logo you will see on your Mac computer when you first launch Google Earth. Because Google software engineer Dan Webb grew up near Chanute, he chose Chanute to be visible on the opening coordinates.
