Dinosaur Park

Erie, KS | Neosho County

Dinosaurs still roam in Erie, but in the form of fantastical sculptures created by Robert Dorris from scrap auto parts. This prehistoric menagerie of 12 creatures include a Tyrannosaurus rex, Stegosaurus, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Brontosaurus, and Eryops. The city has created a landscaped park with specially constructed concrete pads for each dinosaur. Although you can see the sculptures from outside the fence that surrounds them, close-up tours are available.
