A statue of C.J. 'Buffalo' Jones welcomes you to this 1929 Modern Eclecticism limestone courthouse with art deco detail. A plaque explains the fascinating life story of adventurer and plainsman Buffalo Jones, who, among other accomplishments, rebuilt local buffalo herds, thereby helping save this noble beast from extinction. A replica Statue of Liberty stands on the grounds.
