HISTORIC BUILDING

Cimarron Hotel

Cimarron, KS | Gray County

The venerable Cimarron Hotel (NRHP) opened in 1887 under the name of the New West Hotel. For a century it operated almost continuously as a hotel, its three-story brick facade of Second Empire style and its shady front porch welcoming guests to its once-plush interior. Today it is a private residence and stands as one of Cimarron's only reminders of its boomtown days in the 1880s. The owner offers a Parlor Suite to rent on Airbnb. A stay here would be like sleeping back in time!
