Buck Creek School, a handsome native limestone schoolhouse, operated from 1878 to 1952. A wooden entry tower with original school bell was added around 1890. A rural township mill levy, fundraisers, and volunteers helped restore this revered building. Privately owned, it is used as the Rural Township Hall Community Center. (NRHP)
