Bell-Bogardus Cemetery

Mitchell County, Kansas

Just 600 feet north you'll find the small cemetery nestled among the trees along West Asher Creek. It is enclosed by a small limestone wall with a wrought iron gate. At the cemetery's center, a granite marker states that Benjamin and Mary Bell and David Bogardus were killed by Indians in 1868.
