HISTORIC BRIDGE

Amelia Earhart Memorial Bridge

Atchison, KS | Atchison County

Each night color-changing fiber-optic lighting outlines the Amelia Earhart Memorial Bridge, which connects Kansas and Missouri via U.S. 59. In 2012 this four-lane bridge replaced the two-lane bridge erected in 1938 as a WPA project.
