Famous stone sculptor Pete Felten lived and worked at the studio and gallery in Shinbone Alley until his passing in 2026. You are welcome to explore the outdoor courtyard. The limestone wall filled with carvings of animals, shapes, and arches is Pete's lifelong artistic endeavor. Nearly 30 of his stone sculptures are found throughout Hays and Ellis County. A guided-tour brochure, which provides a map and depictions of his works, is at the visitor's center. 8 Wonders of Kansas Art finalist.
