HISTORIC HOME

William A. Quayle House

Baldwin City, KS | Douglas County

Known as Dream Haven, the house was the retirement home of Bishop Quayle, president of Baker University from 1890 to 1894. The 1913 bungalow with a 1921 Colonial Revival addition was nominated for the national register because of Quayle's significance in the community and Midwest and for the structure's architectural features. Drive by only. (NRHP)
