The old city water tower was a crumpled heap after the tornado and was purchased for scrap iron by the former Wichita-based Caster Iron Company. The company created a red and blue sculpture from parts of the water tower and donated it as a memory piece to Greensburg. The red ball is from the top of the old tower.
