Vivian Vance

Vivian Vance is probably best known as Ethel Mertz, sidekick to Lucille Ball in the beloved television comedy I Love Lucy. Born Vivian Jones in 1909 in Cherryvale, she was the first (1954) Emmy Award winner for Best Supporting Actress. Vivian Vance Memorial Drive is on 6th, and the actress's childhood home is at 309 W. 6th. She also resided at 311 E. 5th.
