Vinland Presbyterian Church

The quaint 1879 Presbyterian church is now a private residence and its exterior has been restored to its Gothic Revival splendor. James Naismith, inventor of basketball, pastored here in 1919-1920 while employed as a chaplain and physical education professor at KU. (NRHP)
