
Diners were the main structures built by the Valentine Manufacturing Company. But the Wichita-based company also designed small, prefabricated buildings for use as ice cream stores and liquor stores. When Prohibition ended in Kansas in 1948, several of these were sold throughout the state. The Liquor Box is one of the few remaining in the state.
