The museum is Wichita's premier venue for contemporary works by artists of national and international significance. It's also well known for its Martin H. Bush outdoor sculpture collection of more than 70 works that are placed around campus. One of the beloved works is Tom Otterness's whimsical Millipede, which sits just south of the museum at Perimeter and Fairmount.
