Super Dual Auroral Radar Network

Hays, KS | Ellis County

If you'd like to see a Super Dual Auroral Radar Network, from Main, go ½ mile west on U.S. 183, 2 ¾ miles south and west on the unpaved Golf Course Road, then just north on 210th Avenue. This strange looking matrix of silver towers, poles, and wires is a Doppler radar system that measures the effects of the sun's solar flares on our communication systems.
