In the 1930s, an ornate alarm box with stained-glass pieces forming the words "Robbery Alarm" was placed on the side of the Guaranty State Bank. If the trigger, attached to the bank vault, wasn't disarmed before the vault door was opened, the alarm would sound. It has since been removed but you can see this relic from the past on display inside the bank.
