STONE ARCH BRIDGE

Stone Arch Bridges

Around the county, KS | Cowley County

Cowley County is the Stone Bridge Capital of Kansas. Built between 1890 and 1920 from local limestone, 16 stone arch bridges are still standing (below the road) and are awaiting your discovery! If you are bridge hunting, DO NOT go onto private property to photograph the bridges!

Bridge brochures are available in the Chamber of Commerce offices in Arkansas CityΒ and Winfield.

To view and/or download a map with bridge locations choose the link in the left-hand column.
