HISTORICAL MARKER

Stockwell Farm

Larned, KS | Pawnee County

The Stockwell farm is the birthplace of farm credit. A historical marker tells us that 280 acres were collateral for the first Federal Land Bank loan in the nation, made on April 10, 1917, to farmer-stockman A.L. Stockwell.
