In 1859 William Russell and John Jones operated the Leavenworth and Pike's Peak Express stagecoach line from Leavenworth to Denver. This replica of Station Number 15, a log cabin, has a viewing window through which you can see furnishings of that era. Russell later partnered with Alexander Majors and William Waddell on another venture - the Pony Express.
