Shady Lane Drive

The locals so loved this tunnel of Dutch elm foliage that the road was rebuilt, and new trees planted in 1976 in honor of the country's bicentennial. Telling the Shady Lane story is the plaque atop a base built with limestone from the 1885 Solomon depot.
