Abilene Cemetery

Abilene, KS | Dickinson County

David and Ida Eisenhower, C.W. Parker, A.B. Seelye, Alva Duckwall, 1870 marshal Thomas J. Smith, and rodeo legend Gerald Roberts are only a few of the famous people buried in this intriguing cemetery. Another point of interest is the gravestone for Marlin and Melinda Fitzwater, neither of whom have died as of 2026. She had worked in the Reagan White House and he for Presidents Reagan and Bush. Find the Fitzwater stone in the northwest corner.
