Kansas Artists AvNell Mayfield and Larry Caldwell were sponsored by the Scott City Arts Council to create an outdoor mural featuring wheat harvest and the cattle industry with grain elevators on the distant skyline. Volunteers helped paint by using a paint-by-number system. The mural adorns the side of the Harkness Building in the 400 block of W. 5th.
