HISTORY

Samson Dance Hall

Ludell, KS | Rawlins County

An unassuming red-brick building was once the place to be on weekends in the 1920s-1940s. The Samson Dance Hall featured live dance bands of some of the well-known greats including Glenn Miller and the accordion maestro himself, Lawrence Welk. Now it is home to the Lucky 11 Club and is open on occasion for fundraisers.
