You might guess from its iconic cottage style that this visitor center had a previous life as a Phillips 66 gas station. Built in 1930, it saw years of activity from Route 66 travelers. It now represents the past and is a sweet stop. It is currentlyΒ staffed by volunteers (NRHP)
