Pike's Monument

Delphos, KS | Ottawa County

The monument is at the end of the drive. Captain Zebulon Pike came through this area on his 1806 expedition. From this point he continued northwest to present Republic County near what is now Pawnee Indian Village State Historic Site. This hilltop provides a great view of the Solomon River Valley.
