Osage City Railroad and Mining Museum

Osage City, KS | Osage County

By 1871 the coal fields of Osage County had become a prime spot for mining and for employment west of the Mississippi. Inside this museum, housed in a restored 1912 Spanish Mission style Santa Fe depot, exhibits and memorabilia preserve the stories of coal mining, the railroad, and local history.  (NRHP)
