From 1915 to 2007 the Weaver and Emily (Beck) Fleener family home stood on the northeast corner of the block shared by the Big Well Museum. After the 2007 tornado the Fleener-Beck family donated its property to the city for a plaza to memorialize this dramatic time in Greensburg's history that took their home and those of their neighbors.
