The six flags in front of the museum represent the six countries that once claimed the territory from which Meade County was carved. Inside, neat little vignettes interpret the county's yesteryears including the historic Jones and Plummer Trail. Amazing photographs capture the dark and dirty days of the infamous 1930s Dust Bowl. Two blocks southeast, an outdoor display features early farm equipment.
